We want to give each of our colts the foundation to succeed, whether they are headed for the trail as pleasure, endurance or field trial mounts or the show ring. Their training is started from the moment they are born, being imprinted at birth, halter broke within the first week and handled on a daily basis, but not spoiled. Those not sold as weanlings or yearlings are started under saddle using Clinton Anderson's methods of natural horsemanship. We normally start them at age 2 or 3, depending on when each colt is physically and mentally mature enough.We have adjusted our prices to the current market so you have an opportunity to buy a colt that would normally sell for $1200 - $2500 for considerably less. All colts are eligible to be nominated with the HAWHA Breeder's Futurity.All horses are current on vaccination and worming schedules.
Mares for Sale
Note: Our focus has been gradually changing from breeding and raising colts to riding more. Our grandchildren are riding now and interested in showing and trail riding. There is simply not enough time to do all of it so the grandkids win out! We will continue to raise one or two foals each year.

Here is just a little bit of what to expect when buying a walking horse from Rockin' W Acres.
Magic is a pretty 7 year old, 15.2 black mare with great bloodlines, a natural gait and sweet disposition. Unfortunately, a few years ago Magic sustained serious injuries to her feet. She spent several months recovering and her front feet are now fused. The good news is that she is broodmare sound and produces show quality foals. She has given us three "look at me" foals, all exceptional in gait and conformation.
